Dear Parents and Guardians,

On Friday, November 25, Father Roger Keeler led our first Advent celebration. He reminded us to prepare for the coming of Jesus by praying, being patient and helping others. We were fortunate to have representatives from Change for Children who showed us pictures of families in Uganda who have received our microloans, and videos of Santa Teresa School in Nicaragua using our donated school supplies. What a surprise to see our supplies in another school with the same name! Our students and our families are truly living their call to be light to others. Week 2 and 3 Advent Celebrations will take place in the classrooms.

On Wednesday, December 14th, we will be having our Gr. 1-6 Christmas Concert. All are welcome to join us for our 1:30 performance, however, with a seating capacity of 520 in our gymnasium, there will only be room enough at the evening performance for 2 members per family. Admission will be tracked at the door, so we really appreciate your cooperation with our seating restrictions.

Please join us on Wednesday, December 21st as we have our final Advent Celebration and a blessing over our Christmas Hampers. This long tradition of the St. Teresa community is to care for one another, and one way of doing that is by providing hampers for families who find themselves in need this season. We continue to need some drivers, so please contact the office if you are able to help. Our other tradition is to join together as community with a Santa's Pancake Breakfast followed by Christmas Caroling on Friday, December 23. We will also need your voices as we join together for carols at 11:00! Don’t forget to come back on Monday, January 9!

Yours truly,
